The Digital Health research group and AI Center at Alfaisal University aims to foster a culture of interdisciplinary AI research and development in which technological advancements are inextricably linked to research about their potential societal impacts.
The Digital Health Group offers a wide array of services, including
- Training: The AI Centre’s disciplinary and multi-disciplinary strengths concerning AI and related technologies allow us to offer a broad range of technical and AI policy programs. Our large regional audience is highly engaged and eager to partake in state-of-the-art content around AI and its impacts through Executive Education (ExecEd) and Masterclass programs as well as youth programs via the AI Academy.
- AI Product Design: Co-designing AI-based innovative solutions using proven frameworks for developing viable AI products with stakeholders.
- Consulting: Usability, UX, and AI consulting in addition to the broad area of human-computer interaction (HCI) design consulting.

Director, Artificial Intelligence Research Group
Dr. Areej Al-Wabil College of Science
Dr. Areej is a faculty member in the College of Engineering at Alfaisal University, and the Director of Alfaisal's AI Center and the Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) Design Lab, a multidisciplinary research and development center, specializing in emerging technologies. Her human-centered approach to developing emerging AI technologies focuses on improving everyday workflows and quality of life.
